Photonfocus AG of Lachen, Switzerland, has added the monochrome MV1-D1312-160 camera, with CameraLink interface, to its product portfolio.
Based on the A1312-160, a third-generation complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) imager developed by the company, and using its patented LinLog technology, the MV1-D1312-160 provides a high dynamic range of up to 120 dB and delivers 110 fps at full resolution of 1312 by 1082 pixels.
According to the company, a major benefit of the camera is the possibility of further increasing the speed to thousands of frames per second by reducing the region of interest (ROI) through horizontal and vertical windowing.
The spectral range of the new CMOS camera has extended coverage of 350-1000 nm. Besides the overall excellent image quality the system is also remarkably responsive in the near infrared (NIR) spectrum. A fast global shutter enables sharp and smear-free images to be obtained - even at high frame rates.
The camera is equipped with all standard features needed for common applications, while offering an outstanding image quality, says the company.
