LMI forms components and software distribution agreement with MaxxVision
LMI Technologies Inc (LMI) of Delta, British Columbia, Canada, has signed a partnership agreement with MaxxVision GmbH of Stuttgart, Germany.
Under this agreement MaxxVision has become the Canadian firm's exclusive components and software distributor in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
LMI specialises in machine-vision technologies. Founded during 1976, it is recognised for designing and manufacturing sensors for specific vertical market applications under the 'Sensors that See' brand. More recently it has received attention for establishing new vision sensor technology that supports the universal machine-vision market. These cross-industry products include FireSync - a scalable vision platform for the development of embedded original equipment manufacturer (OEM) vision sensors.
Offering a wide array of products, MaxxVision serves the requirements of the machine-vision industry. The ISO-certified company delivers components for all machine-vision systems, including analogue, digital and intelligent cameras. Its products are used in applications such as automatic identification, industrial production, quality control, logistics, electronic control and video surveillance.
